Hult is a really old farm with a lot of history , the farm is more than four hundred years old. The farm consists of several different building from different centuries. It is mentioned so early as 1539 in a book. The farm and it’s building are listed for protection because of it’s historic value.
It is always fun to show the farm and tell the stories about different things, some of the old locks is fascinating – they are huge.
Hult is a place were people has been guests since it became an inn November 13th 1754. We are proud to be able to do that again. Today we welcome booked groups for dinners in the former dining room. Summertime you can eat in the cosy Johans barn or on the loft.
Our heritage is something we value high. We want each and every one of our guest to feel really welcome. Even though the farm is just twenty minutes drive from E4 and Gränna it is very calm and silent.
We want our guest to feel welcome to spend time here at Hult – to live, to experience and to know the taste of Hult.
We want to be a contrast to the big resorts were everything is perfect and all the same. We want it to be perfectly welcoming instead. We want you to come to our countryside heaven where it’s easy to breathe, were it is ok to take it slow. We want you to find new experiences and taste new things. We want to show you how Hult tastes.
We want you to know and appreciate our little part of Sweden, of Småland as much as we do. It is as simple as that.
